Karsen Delgado is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is bilingual in English and Spanish. She obtained her Associate of Applied Science degree from Davis Applied Technology College, and her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at Weber State University. She served a full time LDS mission to Ecuador, providing nursing services there prior to obtaining her Master's of Science degree at Brigham Young University. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of UNP. Her professional experience includes three years providing healthcare services to patients at Mountainlands Family Health Center. She additionally has five years of nursing experience in pediatric, surgical, and geriatric settings.
Karsen has had a personal experience with postpartum mood changes, and several years later became ill with lyme symptoms, including fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, arthritis, and neuropathy. She was led to change her diet and lifestyle and ultimately experienced miraculous healing of body, mind and spirit. She is desirous to share what she has learned in the hopes that it can also help others struggling with chronic illness to fully heal.
Her encounter with Lyme symptoms has also led to extensive study and research on viruses and other infections that create mood disorders, heavy metal exposures, and adrenal hormone imbalances. She enjoys giving presentations on the root cause of depression and anxiety, as well as ways to boost your mood and create long-term happiness.
